Pika, in fact, somehow managed to move in time with Nacho, so her jumping didn't really hurt him at all. Pointing out at the Flabebe, she grinned. "Go Pika, Thundershock~!"
Pika jumped off her shoulder, and while he was in mid-air, he shocked the Flabebe as fast as he could.

Noticing the newcomers from far away, Venus readied herself as she took the Thundershock quite well. She grinned to herself once she realized the large gap in level between her and her opponent, and to Pika, she shouted, "Ha, was that all you got?" Summoning a horde of sharp leaves, she sent a barrage of Razor Leafs out; aiming to make her power clear.

Pika yipped and covered his face, though that didn't stop his paws and body from getting cut up.
Nacho scowled. "Hey, we can't let that stop us; use Growl, Pika!"
Shaking it off, Pika got on all fours, raised his ears to appear as intimidating as possible, and did the biggest growl he could.

Venus grimaced at the intimidating growl, but it didn't stop her for long. 'Guess I have to switch tactics..' The wild one thought, then stirred up a Fairy Wind against her foe.

Pika rolled over a bit from the strong winds, but he stood up and shook himself again.
Nacho clenched her fists. "Just a few more hits Pika, hang in there!" She called. "Give it another Thundershock buddy!"
Pika nodded and obeyed, tucking his paws in as he released his energy again.

Now was when the Flabebe started getting irritated. Taking another hit without much problem, Venus used Fairy Wind again; hoping to do more damage this time around.

Standing his ground this time around, Pika grunted. 'This pokemon actually packs a punch...'
Nacho pulled out a pokeball and stared at it for a moment before nodding. "Okay, you're mine now!" Throwing the pokeball at Venus, she hoped it would get caught.

Wobble...
Inside the ball, her first feeling was of shock. Yeah, people had battled her before and had attempted her capture previously, but this time felt different. For starters, that trainer had to be mighty gutsy to choose to fight a wild Pokemon such as herself with a Pikachu like that. In battle, the two cooperated perfectly together, which was another thing the Flabebe noticed. 'Being caught might not be too bad...' She pondered for a moment, then figured out her plan, 'Alright then! If the two can try just a little harder, that'll prove their worth and I'll happily join them!'
Pop! Venus escaped the pokeball and used Razor Leaf, now planning on whittling away the Pikachu.
Spark watched on, face set in neutral emotion.

Nacho grimaced. "Darn! Quick Pika, block it with your tail!"
Pika quickly grabbed his tail and shielded himself with it, only causing minor damage because he felt less pain that way.
"Nice!" Doing a small fist pump, Nacho refocused. "Get her on the ground! Tackle her down!"
Pika charged at Venus with a smirk, doing a small jump and reaching for her paws first, so that if he missed, he could quickly recover.

Venus spun about, using Fairy Wind to repel Pika and to keep her grip on the flower in her little paws.

Though Pika was slightly blown back and damaged by the wind, he still managed to fight his way towards her and tackle her down.
Nacho smirked. "Awesome job, buddy! Now use a Tail whip!"

Venus hit the ground, rather harshly due to her tiny size. She tried to work her way back up as Pika used Tail Whip.

Nacho nodded. "One more weak Thundershock, Pika!" She called, a proud look on her face.
Pika looked at Venus with a grin as he used another, less powerful, Thundershock.

As a last resort, Venus flew straight into the Thundershock and used Fairy Wind at point blank. During the move, she felt her limbs numb; gritting her teeth as she realized that the electric attack paralyzed her at the worst moment.

Pika's ears dropped as he took the Fairy wind straight to the face, covering his eyes and shaking his head. "Yikes!" He shouted.
Nacho grinned. "Awesome! She's Paralyzed!" getting out another Pokeball, she squinted her eyes at Venus and nodded. "There's no getting out of it this time!" She called as she threw the pokeball that was her second attempt at a catch.

Nacho squealed and ran over to her pokeball, picking it up with a smile. "We did it~! We did it~!" She cheered, running over to her pikachu. "Pika, we did it!"
Pika smiled. "Yeah! We did do it!"
Scooping him up again, she ran over to the rest of her friends with a proud look on her face. "We got a new pokemon guys!"

Tri applauded Nacho for her catch. "Good job! Now you might have a better chance at beating me!" He looked off into the grass and saw a few other trainers battling wild Pokemon. "I'll probably go off and train these guys."

Ronin shrugged. "Nothing really. Walking isn't all that bad actually! I could get used to the constant warmth of the sun, the nice breeze, and all the other stuff you don't feel in a Poke Ball."
Tri was confused. "Why would she need to get used to it? She's be in there a bit, so she'll get used to it pretty quickly."

Nacho looked at him with an 'I know what i'm talking about' face. "Trust me, I know pokemon better than you do, okay?" She said, nodding.
Pika nodded. "Yeah, feels nice, right? I love being outside. I have a pokeball but I don't usually use it." He smiled.
