Watching everyone leave, Spark turned to face her Froakie and said to him, "Well, we'll have to get stronger if we want to keep up with them!" She wondered wether to follow the others or not, but after reminding herself of her lack of experience, she choose to follow along; begrudgingly of course.

After catching up, the girl noded, exclaming, "Yeah! Neta and I haven't even battled together yet, so we have some training to do!"

Nacho nodded. "All of us could use some training!" She agreed with a laugh. She sent out Venus, shouting a "Come on out Flabebe!" In the process.

Tri nodded and smiled. Patting her back, he said, "Well, the wild Pokémon are good to start with until Neta is about level 7. That's about how far trainers here will train their Pokémon."

In a shower of light, the small Single Bloom Pokemon appeared out of her pokeball for the first time. Venus had to blink a few times for her eyes to readjust to the sunshine.
Confidence finally boosted,Spark took her friend's advice but then asked, "Where should I start?"

Tri stretched his arms out wide. "Anywhere! Wild Pokémon are all around us as we speak. Just take a stroll through some grass and your bound to find a whole bunch!" He looked at Frozen with a grin that said, "I thought you already knew that, but who cares?"

Spark nodded in confirmation, and stared out into the grass. Willing herself, she motioned to Neta to go on their own as they began to tread carefully into the grass. "I watched the other two fight before, so atleast I know what we're up against from what I've learned..." She mentioned to her partner to give him some assurance as they walked into quite literally new territory.
Venus held in a wail due to the potion catching her by surprise, but she did feel better as the medicine worked its magic.

"'Kay!" She called back, then focused back on the task ahead.
Neta was walking a step or two behind his trainer as they continued, wary of the unpredictable area. Eyes peeled, he looked about slowly and critically before hopping another step. In the corner of his eye, the Froakie caught sight of the rustling of a patch of bladed grass. He stopped immediately and nudged Spark without making a sound.

Tri was watching Frozen go into the grass when he spotted rustling grass. He gasped, then covered his mouth. "Frozen!" he whispered. "Looook!"

Kantu was suddenly aware of the grass aroubd him. He had forgotten about wild pokemon.
Blazer, seeing the patch, growled as the hairs on the back of his neck stood up.

Almost ignoring Tri calling her by the wrong name, Spark could only watch for a moment as a wild Zigzagoon jumped high out of the grass. "Hm, ok! Zigzagoon, get ready; Neta, go for it!" She commanded for the very first time to her companion. Neta excitedly hopped to the front, eager to finally show off his honed power. "Here we go, use Bubble!" As Spark ordered, the Froakie took a stance and sprayed out a jet of bubbles at the wild pokemon's way, eyes narrowed in concentration.

Kantu's eyes widened. "Oh, dear. I haven't got one yet!"

Kantu's mother looked out the front door as a delivery van showed up. "Package for Mrs. Kamatu?" Said the delivery man as he approached the door. "That would be me." She replied as she took the box inside, reading the label as she walked. "Huh. Delayed shipping." She tore open the top and took out a Pokèball with a tag on it that read For Kantu, This is your Pokèmon, sorry it took so long, his name is Zuko!
-The Professor.
She gasped as she finished. "Oh, no. I have to get this to Kantu!"

The Bubble attack hit it's mark, sending the Zigzagoon sliding backwards a bit from the (literal) blow. Neta grinned to himself at the first sucess, but he kept his attention sharp as the opponent came barreling forward with a Tackle. "Intercept it with Pound!" Sparkilynn called out to her friend. The Froakie again took a stance to hone his concentration, then at the last moment as the Zigzagoon made its desent, Neta swiftly hit it square on the head. In the second of that moment, Spark realized the mistake in her plan as she gasped for what was to come. Unable to stop after being hit, the Tiny Raccoon Pokemon plowed through Neta, causing great damage to them both as they ended up in a pile.

After scrambling to get back up, the two Pokémon were at a standoff; waiting for who to act first. Neta didn't train much in the defensive realm of his stats, Spark recalled, so she told the Froakie to use Growl in order to have some form of protection. Growling cutely, Neta caught the foe off guard then followed up with an impressive Bubble as instructed by his trainer. The Zigzagoon could take no more after that; falling flat on the ground with swirly eyes in its defeat.
