(( You know how trainers in the anime tend to make their pokemon do weird stuff? That's Nacho for ya~))
Pika suddenly appeared from behind and rammed himself into Gruesax while he had enveloped himself in Thunder, just as Nacho had motioned for him to do. "Nice, Pika!"

Gruesax crashed forward, but got up with anger. "I'll find you, and when I do, you're toast!"
"Dang! Don't let him push you around!" Tri started sweating. "She's good. Just pull through Gruesax."

Nacho grinned. "Pika, Growl!" She shouted through the dust.
Pika growled loudly, bringing down his attack power. He was smart enough to move from his spot once he did.

Axew's skin felt the vibrations for the Growl. He heard, "Follow the sound!" He rushed to the area where the Growl originated, but he was gone.
Tri looked through the dirt, trying to find Pika.

Fennekin continued to run off with Keaton close behind."Fennekin, come back! We need to go find some others before running off into the blue!"
((Are our characters SUPPOSED to know each other already or no? Because i assumed our characters all lived in the same area.)

Pika nodded and jumped into the air, out of the dirt, and thundershocked Gruesax from above.

Tri spotted Pikachu and pointed. "Gruesax, pursue him and use Scratch!"
Gruesax watched Pika shock him, and ran after him when Pika landed. "C'mere you!"

Pika yipped and shoved his tail in Gruesax's face, trying to disrupt his attack. "Haha, Gruesax, gotta tail in your face?!" He teased.
Nacho just watched, beaming with confidence. "Good job, Pika! Keep up the defense!"

Tri bared his teeth. "At this rate, we'll never land a blow!" He turned his hand into a fist. "Gruesax! Don't give up!"
The Axew slapped Pika's tail out of the way. "You won't get away this time!!" He began to get angry, which made him try harder.

Pika tumbled over, but managed to roll and get back on his feet. "You see, I have the advantage here! I'm nimble, and you're not!" He grinned, hopping from side to side.

Gruesax used Leer when Pika turned to taunt him. "Oh really? Well then, how about we play a little game of tag?" He made an unusual sound, but then disappeared.
Tri was confused, but knew Gruesax couldn't take more. He turned to look at Ronin, but he wasn't there.

Pika frowned, looking around. He couldn't see Gruesax, which worried him a bit. He started running around in circles to clear out the dirt and make himself hard to hit.

Tri searched for Ronin, looking to his sides and behind him. Then, out of the dirt, Gruesax appeared. He pointed a stubby finger to the dust.
Out of nowhere, Ronin rammed into Pika's side. "Dun-dun-duuun!" he shouted.

Pika Yipped and rolled over again. "Huh?! Switchout?!" He exclaimed, grinning.
Nacho smirked. "Wrong choice, bud! Pika, give Oshawott your thundershock!"
Pika just ran at Ronin and used his thundershock, trying his hardest to make it powerful.

Tri was amazed at his Pokémon's teamwork. He was going to applaud Gruesax, but he was gone. He shook his head and watched the Axew run back into battle.
Ronin took his scalchop and tried deflecting the Thundershock, but it landed. He twitched a bit, then fell. "Nice job man, good luck." Then he fainted.
Behind Pika, Gruesax prepared another Assurance. "This time you're mine!" Landing a square blow, Gruesax swiped with all his might.

Pika fell forward with a thump, managing to get back on his paws quickly and turn around to face Gruesax. "Hey!"
Nacho scowled. 'What a cheat! They were double-teaming him!' Raising her hand, she motioned for Pika to ram himself into the Axew. "And one more thundershock should finish him off!" She exclaimed, nodding.
Pika ran at Gruesax and launched himself at him, eyes closed for the impact.

Tri grinned. 'They're working together. It's a start.' He punched the air and commanded Gruesax. "One more Scratch Gruesax, finish it!"
The Axew ran towards Pika, showing his claws. A fierce cry erupted from his mouth.

In a blink, Pika immediately thundershocked Gruesax before he could come anywhere near. He clenched his paws and grunted as he exerted the last of the energy he had. "Come on...!" He said to himself, hoping that this would be the last move.

Pika stopped, barely managing to stand as he shivered. "Owowow..." He whined, attempting to shake off the thought of collapsing. He looked back over at Gruesax, wondering if that last move was enough to knock him out.

Pika's ears perked up and he smiled. "I did it!" He exclaimed, looking over at Nacho as she ran over to him with joy and scooped him up into her arms. "Yay~! Pika you did it! You're the best~!" She stopped and looked over at Tri, nodding. "That was a great match. Your pokemon are both tough!" She complimented, holding out her hand for a handshake.
