Pika smirked and nodded, proud of himself. "And even though sometimes Nacho makes me do weird stuff in battle, it definitely works!" He said, turning to Fennekin. "Who says you're not a good fighter? You haven't tried taking any of us on yet!"

After the battle ended, Spark retreated into the cafe. She pouted to herself that she wasn't brave enough to go greet them, but she waved it off as she bought a cup of hot cocoa. Leaning her head on her hand, she wondered, 'Am I really strong enough to go through with this?'. The girl glanced again at her only pokeball, and steeled herself; Neta trained hard to accompany her on her journey, so she would at least continue on for his sake. Regaining her composer, Spark sipped her cocoa slowly.

Lilly had lost sight of where the other humans had gone and stopped in front of the cafe doors. "Did they go in here?" She asked herself quietly. Scratching at the door, she tried to find them again.

Deciding to send out the pokemon on her mind, Spark lightly tossed the pokeball in her hand to the ground; her Froakie appearing amid the white light the moment the ball touched the cafe floor. Neta greeted his trainer with a wave and a, "Froak!"; earning a smile from her.

Lilly heard noises coming from inside, causing her to scratch on the door louder. "Bwee!" She called, hoping to grab someone's attention.

Ronin's ear twitched. "Shh...did you guys hear that?" He looked around, trying to find where the sound came from.
Gruesax also scanned the area. "I didn't hear anything. You sure there isn't wax in your ear?"
Ronin glared at Gruesax. "Yes, I'm pretty sure."

Ronin turned his head to the door and saw an Eevee scratching it. "Over there!" He pointed to the glass and started running towards Lily.

Neta quickly noticed the strange sounds coming from the exitway of the building. Tuning everything else out, he began to move slowly and carefully towards it. "Hey, Neta! Where are you going?" Lost in thought, Spark didn't realize her Pokemon's departure before it was too late. Scooting out of her chair, she gasped when Neta obliviously jumped onto a window-seat table where an old couple sat. His weight shook the cups of coffee on his new perch, and the couple screamed out in fear of the frog. To Spark's surprise, Neta ignored the old coots and kept his steady gaze on the outside of the building. "Neta! Come on!" The trainer quickly uttered her apologies to the disgruntled pair, then asked her compainion, "What's wrong? What was that for?" The Froakie only replied by pointing at the door. Raising a brow, Spark opened the door with rising suspicion.

Since the two doors were right beside eachother, Lilly stood, looking at both Ronin and Spark. "Whoops. Was I really that loud?" She looked over at the human, and slowly approached, ears up in caution. "I hope this works..."

Lilly stopped. "We wild pokemon have to face it everyday. The tamed ones like you are safe. There's an awful infection going around that corrupts pokemon and makes them stronger. We just call it "Insanity", but I can't stand having to look out for insane pokemon anymore..! I need a trainer like you guys! And they can help us! I know it!"
Pika padded over too, now curious. He saw Spark and Neta, but focused on the new Eevee, confused and worried at the same time.

Ronin became worried. "So you're saying an infection makes wild Pokémon stronger and you need a trainer to be safe?" He smiled. "There are a few trainers who would love a new addition to their team!"

Neta tugged at Spark's pant leg, trying to get her attention with a determined look. Even though she couldn't speak pokemon, the trainer knew something was up. Suddenly, she grew scared, 'I've been with Pokemon all my life and I can't tell what they're trying to say?! What am I supposed to do?'
After a moment, she awkwardly kneeled down to the Pokemon's level and asked the Eevee, "Um, it sounds like something's the matter.. Can I try and help you?"

Tri heard Spark's yelling and went to see what the commotion was. He found Spark kneeling and looking at an Eevee. "Whoa, a new Pokémon! Why were you yelling?"

Lilly nodded to Spark and looked around for some way to communicate. "Uhh, uhh, anyone speak human?" she asked the other pokemon.
Pika shook his head. "Nope, their language is too hard to speak. It's pretty easy to understand, though."
